Terms of Use

Last updated October 11, 2026

By using My RPG Me you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Using the app

My RPG Me is free to use for your own games, at home, online or anywhere else you play.

Your content

What you create in the app (characters, campaigns, notes and homebrew) is yours. You're responsible for what you enter, import and share, so only import or share material you have the right to use.

Rules content

The built-in rules come from the SRD 5.2.1 and SRD 5.1, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license (see About & Credits). My RPG Me isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast. The app is a play aid: your game's rulebooks and your Game Master have the final say.

Tips

Tips are voluntary thank-yous and don't unlock anything. Refunds follow the rules of Google Play or PayPal, whichever you paid through.

Keep backups

Your data lives only on your device, so it can be lost if the device is lost, reset or damaged, if you uninstall the app, or if your browser clears its storage. Back up regularly with Settings → Backup → Back up everything.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and freedom from errors.

No promised service

No level of service is promised, and none should be inferred: not uptime, support, updates, fixes, new features or continued availability. The developer may change, suspend or shut down the app, the website or any part of them at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice, and without liability to you.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer isn't liable for any loss or damage from using or being unable to use the app, including lost data. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you paid for the app, which is nothing, plus any tips you gave in the twelve months before the claim.

Software licenses

The app is built with open-source software, used under the licenses listed in Software licenses.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the new version will be in the app with a new date above. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
